Who are We?

The Parents Council of Nashville was begun in the Fall of 1984 by a group of Nashville parents.  Their goal was to create an organized network of support, encouragement and education for parents of Nashville's youth.  The council was in place in 1986 with a membership of fourteen supporting schools.  The membership has grown to include twenty-one active public and private elementary and secondary schools.  With the Parents Council of Nashville as a catalyst, it is our hope that all parents will be empowered in the mission of raising responsible and self-sufficient youth.
